TOOLS

Chain nose plier
Round nose plier — preferably a pair with a wide base
Flush wire cutter
optional - Chasing hammer
optional - Plastic mallet
optional - Bench block
optional - Medium wrap and tap pliers
optional - Wire rounder — cup bur
optional - Milimeter gauge

MATERIALS

20 gauge, dead soft or half hard sterling wire — you will need about 3.5" per pair. You may want to pick up some copper 20 gauge to practice with.

In this class you will learn to make a basic earwire and one embellished with a bead. Learn to harden the wire as well as file the tip of the wire for a more comfortable fit in the ear. You will also be introduced to great tools which are super useful for this project.
