  • Design measures: 5mm wide by 5mm high.
  • Made from 1/4" round heat-treated tool steel.
DesignStamps are a bit tricky. I highly recommend you practice on somecheaper metal before diving into your Sterling Silver or Gold Filled. Click here to purchase a piece of copper sheet for practicing.

Forbest results with Design Stamps, make sure there is NO padding underyour Bench Block, make sure you are working on a stable table, and usea utility hammer (nail pounding hammer) which weighs at least 16ounces. Feel free to hit the stamp more than once, but hold that stampsteady, making sure you don't shift at all between hits. The moreconfident you are with the hammer and the strength behind it, thebetter your impression will be.

I have never used the smaller cylinder stamp before and it's safe to say they aren't my favorite. I have a hard time holding the stamp to get a clean imprint. I normally have to go over it twice and hold my breath. I'm sure more experienced stampers know just how to use these but not me.

I do like the little flower, it's the perfect size on the 3/4 circle tag.
