Shine Brite burnishing compound is made especially for use in the rotary tumbler with stainless steel shot. It is an odorless, biodegradable concentrate that leaves tumbled pieces bright and clean.

Fill tumbler with distilled bottled water to just cover the components and shot. Add about 2-10 drops of the Shine Brite. Put lid on barrel and start tumbler.

For use in a 3 lb capacity tumbler, the combined weight of the water, your jewelry and the shot needs to be below 3 lbs. If your barrel is not turning, it is likely too heavy and you should remove some shot.

Make sure to check the tumbler every 20 or so minutes and refresh the water and burnishing solution if it is dirty.

A new solution should be used when initially starting to tumble a project.

Solution may be discarded down the drain after use.

FINALLY found a burnishing compound that does not leave my water black. Glad I tried it as I have tried tons of others from the big jewelry supply boys and nothing has worked like this. LOVE this and a must for your tumbler.

I was a little worried how quickly I would use this... no reason to worry it works so well with such small amounts. I love it and I love shiny jewelry ;)

It only takes a few drops! It can do several small batches in one day if your water isn’t too dirty. Before or after coloring your blanks. Don’t forget those jump rings to keep the blanks from sticking together or to the bottom. Much easier to clean up afterwards than the dish soap.
