- 1/3 fluid ounce (9.9 ml)
- Made in the USA.
- Thompson Enamel.
- Water base and lead-free.
- If enamel dries out, just add water.
Start with a white enamel/undercoat. After you fire the undercoat, let the piece cool completely.
Next, apply your acrylic paint with a brush. SLOWLY burn off the organic material. It will smoke. Matte to glass will will take 10 seconds to one minute.
Sometimes it is hard to see the paint turn to glass. Adjust your eye level with the blank. Move your eye line level up and down to allow your eyes to see the quick change in the enamel consistency.
I'm gonna stick with powdered enamel from here on out, but this was a great way to try out some painting and designs. The tube lasts forever, it seems. And it fires well, but I like the less structured designs I make with powders. But if you're looking to "Paint" some designs, then this is your enamel to try.
