Design Stamps are a bit tricky. I highly recommend you practice on some cheap metal before diving into your Sterling Silver or Gold Filled. Click here to purchase a piece of copper sheet for practicing.
For best results with Design Stamps, make sure there is NO padding under your Bench Block, make sure you are working on a stable table, and use a hammer which weighs at least 16 ounces. We recommed a Brass Head Mallet. Feel free to hit the stamp more than once, but hold the stamp steady, making sure you don't shift at all between hits. The more confident you are with the hammer and the strength behind it, the better your impression will be.

Love, love, loves this stamp! Beaducation has THE best SouthWestern style stamps. Not only do these make great designs, but also can be used to make outstanding borders!!! I like to take scrap silver metal and whack it really hard using a stamp, and then sawing/shaping it and soldering to earrings or embellish a ring.
This is by far the best "commercial" stamp I've found to date. Solid square shaft makes it easy to keep in position and achieve a clean, even stamp. The impression is deep and well defined. Highly recommend!
I really like using this stamp as an accent or border. I also think it will make a great stamp for mandala stamping. I like to pair this stamp with the Indian Curve stamp. I think they look cool together.
SUPER for borders and mandalas. Leaves a great impression behind and looks amazing in designs!
This stamp is great for mandalas or borders. It is clear and crisp. I found this to be a very versatile stamp.
Another super versatile border stamp! Crisp & clear impressions. Adds really fun detail and almost a shading effect to borders.
Talk about versatile! I love to use this to make filler patterns on the ends of bracelets with text on them. The lines are very fine, they layer SO NICELY- seriously stamp it, turn it a quarter turn and stamp again and you've got some serious texture going on there.
Please make more like these.
