This stainless steel beading awl is perfect for shaping loops for the Unsupported Viking Knit
and Peacock Chain
classes. It is also handy to use while tying knots between beads. Stick the point of the awl into the loose knot and use the tool to "walk" the knot into place next to the bead.
Careful! The tip of the awl is sharp. Stick an old wine cork on the tip when not in use to prevent an accidental finger prick.
I use this fine awl for making spaces between rings when weaving chainmail.
