- Brush onto metal to hold enamel powder in place.
- Water based
- Now comes in semi-clear jar.
Without the holding agent, the enamel is going to blow all over from your torch. The flame really does have more than heat going on.
I mix this with an equal amount of water and put it in a spray bottle. It's easier than painting it on when I am doing a larger pice. However, when I want to get lines or sections, I will paint it on and enamel section by section.
It's a low cost product that makes enameling even easier.
Don't Skip The Step If You Torch Your Enamel
Very helpful in holding the enamel in place, especially when working with multiple colors.
This holding agent is exactly what you need to put on before you sift your powder over the top of your piece. It holds the powder in place perfect. I was not going to purchase it but I figured the enamel might blow off once the torch got near it. I mixed mine in a spray bottle and spray it on my piece. Works great.
