Design Stamps are a bit tricky. I highly recommend you practice on some cheap metal before diving into your Sterling Silver or Gold Filled. Click here to purchase a piece of sheet to practice on.
For best results with Design Stamps, make sure there is NO padding under your Bench Block with the exception of a Sandbag, make sure you are working on a stable table, and use a hammer which weighs at least 16 ounces. We recommed a Brass Head Mallet. Feel free to hit the stamp more than once, but hold the stamp steady, making sure you don't shift at all between hits. The more confident you are with the hammer and the strength behind it, the better your impression will be.

This stamp was not easy to use and I couldn't get it to stamp the whole image. I tried every trick I know and still couldn't get it to stamp right. I don't know if it was just defective or what, but it didn't look anything like the example. To me (what I could get to stamp) looked more like a flower, not a sun.
Great little stamp! If you have a miss/light edge stamp with this one you can add a cloud and have it look like the sun is poking out of the clouds. Fun variation. :)
I enjoy having this full sun stamp in my inventory. It is a great addition to the scenes I create on ornaments and bracelets. I have had no issues getting a clear and full impression.
