Learn how easy it is to anneal metal! Annealing is an important metalsmithing technique that softens metal when it becomes work-hardened. Kate demonstrates how to use a butane torch to anneal a variety of metals in this free class.

Kate does a nice job on these videos. I would have liked to have seen information included on annealing, pickling and bright-dipping brass and nickel-silver, as well as the copper and silver. I use the former two metals because I like larger jewelry pieces, and gold and silver are financially out of the question.
Thanks for these resources.
