Introduction to Seed Beads

Introduction to Seed Beads
This is a great class to watch for all skill levels of seed beaders. If you haven’t done any seed bead work, Laura covers the basics such as: tools and materials, different types of seed beads, flat and odd count peyote stitch, tubular even and odd count peyote stitch, and threading a needle. This class is also great for those experienced seed beaders looking for a re-cap on the basics. Join Laura and learn about different sizes of seed beads, threads, needles and the difference between Czech and Japanese seed beads.
This class has a running time of 29 minutes.

Extremely well explained. Easy to follow instructions. Greatly appreciate this even though I've done both odd and even flat peyote stitch. This gave me even more clarity. I would appreciate an explanation as to which weight thread or line to use with which beads. Thanks for this video!

I am absolutely new to any sort of beading or jewelry making, this is one of the best videos I have found that has really helped me understand. Though, unless I missed it, I'm still not quite sure how to know what length of thread I need for a piece. I'll keep digging for that answer. But thank you tons!
