Excellent explanation with demonstration! Definitely will pass this demo to my stained glass students. I use different types of wire work including spirals in many of my projects and this is one of the best demonstrations I've seen. Thank you, Lisa!

I have watched this multiple times over several months. I am still perfecting my spirals and am getting better with each viewing of this tutorial! Thanks for taking the time to teach basic lessons that allow us newbies to get up to speed on skills we need to be creative and grow.

Best, simplest, and most common-sense instructions! I make a lot of spirals, and I've struggled with other methods. It makes sense to create the entire first loop on the round nose. It makes sense to use chain nose instead of flat nose. Thank you so much for describing how the shape of the center loop affects the shape of the entire spiral.

Thank you. Best tutorial I've seen on spirals. Now I know my problem isn't me but my crappy tools. Time for an upgrade

Great Tutorial
I don't have a question?
The closed loop swirl that looks like it's an end piece or eye pin, how did you get the centered, sharp 90 degree angle?
Is there another video that I haven't gotten to yet?
I think I will be watching this one over as I get better on making the swirls and wire ends.
Thank you!

Thank you Joanna! Take a look at Wire Jewlery Fundamentals Step 1. Wire Wrapping to see how that right angle is created.

I have always had trouble creating these types of spirals - they always came out very wonky! After watching this tutorial I have been able to create perfect spiral after perfect spiral. Thanks so much for this! :)

I've been working with wire for quite a while and probably became careless in paying attention to details. This is an awesome review of great technique. Thanks Lisa!

I've been wrapping wire for a while but my loops seem to get worse (bound to be user error).
Your videos are brilliant! The smallest of wrong turns (No pun intended) & loop or spiral won't work out. Also, I have never known why my wire marks so your information about the tool is vital! Superb tutorial, really appreciate it. Thank you!!

I’m having a great time looking at different wire work videos on Beaducation. Your techniques are a bit different than what I originally learned. I can’t wait to play with wire today & try them out!

Beaducation is my "go-to" for learning wire working. Instructors appear to have some education in course development and in teaching adults. The attention to small details of the technique can make the results much more likely to be a successful outcome for the student. I developed and taught adults classes during my career so I appreciate the ease of following Lisa's instruction. Also, its very easy to listen to Lisa. Her instructions are clear and her tone of voice makes you feel her interest in making certain her students not only succeed but also enjoy.
