I learned a lot that I have been struggling with on my own since I bought my Dremel. This class gave me more self confidence to do what I knew I could, but felt I couldn't, because I was worried about cracking expensive gems and minerals. I really enjoyed the explanation of the different uses for the weird looking bits. My only constructive criticism is that the instructor repeated safety instructions too many times. I feel once at the beginning, and once at the end, would be plenty. Thank you for all of your instructional videos! I always check here first, even before YouTube!

This was a great class. I liked that I could many different tools to make the holes. I can already imagine many projects to do.
The teacher was great and explained things well.
I didn't mind the safety reminders throughout the video. And liked the reminders of using the water.
And i love the free classes.
I would highly recommend this and other classes from beaducation

This was a terrific class demonstration of how to drill successfully using various equipment. I enjoyed the bonus of learning how to make a bail. I never would have thought of that. Now I have a new technique under my jewelry making belt that I can be quite proud of. Thank you Kate and thank you Beaducation for the outstanding video courses!

Excellent teacher. I've worked through other classes of hers and she is highly skilled - easy to see that - and manages to exhibit patience and steadiness in her approach to teaching. Very pleasant demeanor.

Kate does an excellent job, as usual, of explaining how to drill & enlarge holes in different materials. She also shows how to make a bail for the ammonite, which is very helpful. I love her teaching style. She's clear and concise, making sure that she doesn't leave you with any questions. And, she's also a very pleasant person, which makes her a joy to watch. Thanks Kate, for a job well done!

After reading the previous comments there is little I can add to them other than to say I AGREE! I have one of Kate's books and DVDs and this video is equally as good. I drill sea glass for various projects and her bail making idea was great! Thanks again Beaducation!!!

Thank you for this very informative and helpful class. I do have a Dremel hiding somewhere and even a drill press and now have confidence to use them. Great teacher.

Loved the class. I was hesitant to drill stones or sea glass in particular but after the class I'm ready to go. I particularly like Kate's style of teaching because of her attention to detail and safety measures. Great going, Kate!!

Wow, Thank you Beaducation for this great key skills instructional video.
It is so valuable on how to drill holes the correct way with the best bits. For me this will allow & encourage me to utilize much more of my "stash" of beads & even the "found" objects to incorporate into creations!
The quality of the video with Kate was well paced along with excellent
close-ups.
Thank you & Cheers!

I agree with the previous comments. My only comment was going to be that her fingers blocked the view when she used the drill press. But she must have realized that. In the next shot she moved her hand to the back...Perfect! Thank you to Kate for this class and thanks to Beaducation for providing free educational videos. When a company provides free education, I think of them first when I need to purchase supplies.
