My two year old picks up leaves on every walk. Can you blame him? They are all pretty, all unique. Make a pair of earrings that are every bit as beautiful as the real thing!
Stamp your design.
Cut two 1.5" pieces of Sterling Silver wire. Keep the wire a little long so it's easier to work with. The wire is maleable at this point but the more you work with it the harder it becomes. We just used our hands to create the slight curve but you may need to use your pliers. Once it's in the shape you like, lightly flatten the wire on a bench block with a Chasing Hammer.
Solder the wire onto the leaf. Once cooled, cut the excess wire. Clean the piece. Open a jump ring and solder it to the top to create a bail. Cool, clean and polish.
Add another jump ring to connect the earwires to the leaf.
Thank you Lorna and thank you Beaducation!
