Oxidized Chevron Necklace

This necklace is a great project for those who want to learn more about oxidizing and stamping. We love how this piece is two-tone, with only half of each stamped blank dipped into Liver of Sulfur (LOS). We took our sterling silver bar blanks and stratigically marked all the angles with a Sharpie marker and then cut them with a pair of metal shears. From there, we stamped the arrows and marked a "dip" line so we knew how far to submerge our blanks into the LOS solution. After this we stamped the final square across the oxidized line. This piece is not only fun to make, but fun to wear as well!
