Learn to create this gorgeous pair of earrings. Starting with straight wire, you will make the tapered double spiral links then "spike" them with Swarovski crystals.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Must be proficient at making spirals. For a refresher, please view our FREE online class, "Perfecting the Wire Spiral"

Materials Needed

• 3 feet 20 gauge Sterling Silver wire dead soft
• 1.5 feet 24 gauge Sterling Silver wire dead soft
• 3 feet 20 gauge copper wire for practice
• 1 pair Sterling Silver earwires
• 14 Bali Silver 5mm star-shaped spacer beads
• 14, 3mm Swarovski crystal bicone beads
• 2 jump rings to attach the tapered chain to the earwires
• 1 3/32" mandrel (about 2.6mm) needs to be close to exactly this size

• Chain Nose Pliers
• Round Nose Pliers with a base of at least 4mm. I like these.
  
• Flush Cutter
