TOOLS

Plastic Mallet
Riveting Hammer
Large Wrap and Tap (optional) — You may also use a ring mandrel or large dowel to shape the band.
Rubber Block (optional)
Vice (optional) — We carry a handy table clamp vice. If you already have a vice on your workbench, it will work just fine.
Design Stamps (optional) — Use a variety of stamps to add interest to the ring band.
Chain Nose Pliers
Fine Tip Flush Cutter
Fat Daddy Cutter
Screw Down Hole Punch
Sanding Sticks — Or use 400 and 600 grit sandpaper.
Electric Bead Reamer — or regular drill and a Diamond Bead Reamer Bit (see below).
Diamond Bead Reamer Tip (optional) — If yours goes dull. You can also use it in a pin vice to make a hand-held reamer.
Needle Files (optional) — For filing out the hole for the rivet. You can also use the Electric Bead Reamer for this step.
